To keep going in our interesting journey through the game that is blackjack, let's brush up a bit on the basic casino games rules of the game of blackjack. The rules of casino games change slightly, depending on where you play, but for the sake of simplicity, we will just look at the basic casino games rules for blackjack.
The first thing that must happen in any blackjack game is the same as most other casino games. A wager must be placed. Once all the players have placed their wagers, the dealer then begins to deal. Each player is dealt two cards, one at a time, the dealer as well. Depending on which casino games rules you are following, the cards may be dealt either face up or face down. The dealer's cards are always one up, one down. If the cards are dealt face up, it is important that you do not touch them. Touching them is very bad form. Touching the cards is permitted if they are dealt face down as you need to see them. |
